An erupting volcano
Volcano Bay is Universal's water park and, like other Orlando water parks, it features a massive wave pool with a large white sandy beach lined with palm trees, water slides, and a lazy river. However, this time, it’s all set within an erupting volcano surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.
In terms of scenery, Volcano Bay water park competes with Disney's Blizzard Beach !

The volcano intermittently spews a plume of steam from its summit, and its eruptions are visible from Interstate I-4 if you take it to drive to the water park.
Access to the park is via a bus from the Universal parking lots in downtown Orlando, unless you choose to stay at the Cabana Bay hotel located at the base of Volcano Bay.
